DM Rescue is a Google Chrome extension, provided by Vilela CSE, that helps you find and remove messages you sent on Instagram Direct.

• Your messages are read and processed in your browser and are never sent to Vilela CSE servers.
• DM Rescue never asks for, reads or stores your Instagram password.
• Only paid license validation talks to our server: your license key and a random installation ID.
• We don't sell data, don't use advertising and don't use analytics tools in the extension or on this site.

What the extension reads and where it stays

To work, the extension reads your Instagram conversation list and messages inside your browser, identifies which ones you sent and shows a report for review.

This data (conversation names, message previews, your selection and progress) is saved only in the extension's local storage on your computer so your progress isn't lost. You can delete it at any time under "Technical details → Clear current analysis", and it is removed when you uninstall the extension.

Instagram session

The extension uses the Instagram session already open in your browser (session cookies) only to perform the reads and removals you request. This data is never copied or sent anywhere else.

License validation

When you activate, verify or deactivate Rescue Pass or Stealth Mode, the extension sends the license key you entered and a random installation ID, created by the extension itself, to dmrescue.vilelacse.com.br. While the license is active, this check repeats automatically a few times a day.

The server confirms the key with Payhip and keeps only: a hashed code of the key, its last 4 characters, the partially hidden purchase email, activation and expiry dates, and hashed codes of the installation ID and device token. To prevent abuse, the server counts attempts per IP address, stored only in hashed form.

The extension also downloads a technical configuration file from this server without sending any personal data.

Payments

Purchases are processed by Payhip. Vilela CSE never receives your card details. Payment information is handled under Payhip's privacy policy.

Website

This site doesn't use tracking cookies or analytics tools. The guide pages only store your language choice in your browser.

How long we keep data

License data is kept while the license exists and for as long as legal and tax obligations require. The extension's local data stays on your computer until you clear it or uninstall the extension.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction or deletion of the license data associated with you by writing to support@vilelacse.com.br. Message data stays on your computer and you can delete it yourself at any time.

Account responsibility

Use DM Rescue only on accounts you own or are authorized to manage. If you believe an Instagram account has been compromised, secure it through Instagram before using DM Rescue.
